Additional Information:

The NVRA is managed by a committee of property owner representatives elected at the Annual General
Meeting, with members serving two-year terms on a voluntary basis. The financial year runs from July 1 to
June 30, and the suggested annual contribution for 2025/26 is R500 or more. The association has supported
the establishment of the Nature's Valley Special Rating Area, which came into effect in 2023. Nature's
Valley is surrounded by a national park and the Groot River estuary and flood plain, with the lagoon
frontage and coastal dune protected and managed via a Contractual National Park Agreement between the
NVRA, SANParks, and Bitou Municipality.
