Alderman Rosina Ruiters is a highly respected veteran of local government with decades of
experience in public service. Her professional career began in the administrative sector, and
she later transitioned into politics, where she has held numerous leadership positions. She
currently serves as the Chairperson of the Planning and Economic Development Portfolio
Committee for the Garden Route District Municipality. Her work experience in Mossel Bay
includes serving as a long-term ward counselor and as a member of the Mayoral
Committee. Ald Ruiters is a passionate advocate for community upliftment and has been
instrumental in many local development projects. She is known for her wisdom, her
mentorship of younger counselors, and her unwavering commitment to the people of
Mossel Bay. Her extensive knowledge of municipal governance makes her an invaluable
asset to the council.
