Cllr Lodewyk Coetzee is a dedicated community leader with a focus on environmental
conservation and local economic development. His professional experience prior to joining
the council included management roles in the hospitality and retail sectors, where he
developed strong interpersonal and organizational skills. As the representative for Ward 8,
he has been a driving force behind neighborhood beautification projects and the protection
of local green spaces. His work experience includes serving on the Planning and Economic
Development Committee, where he contributes to the long-term spatial planning of the
municipality. Cllr Coetzee is known for his accessibility to his constituents and his proactive
approach to solving local issues. He is committed to fostering a vibrant local economy that
supports small businesses and provides opportunities for all residents.
