Bitou 10 Foundation

AIMS AND GOALS:  Founded in 2006 and dedicated to enhancing education in local schools, the Bitou 10 Foundation champions educational excellence throughout the municipality of Bitou, which encompasses Plettenberg Bay and its surrounding communities. The foundation strives to create opportunities for academic success and excellence by uplifting local state schools and understanding the needs of learners, educators, and schools. The organization works in partnership with the Western Cape Education Department's (WCED) Circuit 4 team to revolutionize the quality of teaching, learning, and performance at every level. The foundation's approach involves developing groundbreaking educational support strategies that have the potential to spark positive change across communities throughout South Africa. The organization addresses not just immediate issues but works to transform the fundamental quality of education delivery.
