Councillor Lukhanyiso Nohana is the current African National Congress (ANC) Councillor for Ward 3 in the Knysna Local Municipality. He was officially sworn into office on 22 August 2025, following his victory in a municipal by-election — the result of which saw him succeed the previous Ward 3 councillor, Mncedisi Skosana. Prior to his election, he attended Percy Mdala High School.
