Résumé
Thembela Mhlana is the Ward 3 Councillor for Bitou Local Municipality, representing the African National Congress (ANC). He serves the communities of Bossiesgif, Qolweni, and Pinetrees. Mhlana brings a background in municipal operations, having worked as a Career Counsellor at the Bitou Municipality Water Purification Works in Knysna, where he accumulated over a decade of experience. He holds a Bachelor's Degree and has applied his administrative and technical knowledge to his political role. Within the council, he serves as the Chairperson of the Engineering Services & Community Services Portfolio Committee (MMC) and is a member of MAYCO. He is known for his hands-on service delivery approach, regularly conducting walkabouts in his ward and engaging directly with residents to identify and resolve infrastructure challenges. Mhlana's leadership is firmly focused on improving water, sanitation, and community facility standards across Ward 3.
