Résumé
Samkele Aluncedo Lamla Mangxaba is the Ward 5 Councillor for Bitou Local Municipality, representing the African National Congress (ANC), and currently serves as the Chief Whip of the Bitou Council. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Project Management) from the UCT Graduate School of Business, a National Diploma in Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, and an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration (NQF 7) from the University of the Western Cape. Before entering politics in 2021, he worked as a Bank Consultant at Absa (2013–2015), a Service Consultant at Capitec Bank (2015–2018), and a Trainee Buyer at The Foschini Group (2018–2020). He also served as a Programme Officer Intern at The Fundamentals Training Centre. Describing himself as a human rights activist, youth leader, and orator, Mangxaba is a vocal advocate for transparent governance, youth empowerment, and improved service delivery in Kwanokuthula.
