Cllr Zithulele Matyesini brings a wealth of experience in local governance and community
leadership to his role. His professional career prior to entering politics was marked by
active involvement in labor unions and community forums, where he honed his skills in
negotiation and conflict resolution. As a Ward Counselor, he has focused on infrastructure
development and the improvement of basic services such as water and sanitation. His work
experience includes serving on various municipal committees, where he contributes to the
strategic planning and budgeting processes of the municipality. Cllr Matyesini is particularly
passionate about sustainable development and has been involved in projects that promote
environmental stewardship within his ward. He is recognized for his ability to bridge the
gap between the municipality and the community, fostering a culture of transparency and
accountability.
